Few Facts about myself:
I live in northwest Illinois 30 miles from the Wisconsin border and 20 miles from the Iowa border
I live on a family farm where we raise cattle, hogs, and corn.:
We have 4 grown children with 5 grandchildren.
We love to take our jeep out to the Colorado Rockies and jeep on the 4 wheel trails.
What I'd like to learn or get out of this course: Our students have grown up in a different world full of technology and new ways to communicate and collaborate. I need to realize and understand those differences along with ways to adjust my teaching to reach and engage all students. Even as the facilitator, I learn from everyone in this course as we examine where we are in our educational experience and how it affects our students.
My favorite game(s): When my kids were little, we were avid Myst and Zelda fans. We recently purchased a Wii which I use a lot for fitness along with playing various sports games with friends.
